Description
This module is recommended for monitoring large installations
in which direct localization of the signalled fault is essential.
The horn relay is energized via a conductive thyristor. The horn can be
deactivated via the accept button at terminals QQ. A transistor supplied with
clock pulses energizes the flashing light relay, which initially drops out when
the fault is cleared. The disturbance signal can also be used to activate
simultaneously an external lamp in the annunciator or illuminated mimic diagram
via a second terminal. Power is supplied internally from a built-in power
supply. Terminal B is the reference point for the electronic circuits and for
the neutral conductor of the disturbance input voltage. Terminals N and BZ must
be bridged prior to commissioning. This basic module featuring ten disturbance
inputs can be complemented with up to ninety further disturbance inputs. The
add-on modules each have fourteen disturbance inputs.
